WSA Dutch pre-selection round

I have mailed last night the prospects for the Dutch pre-selection of the World Summit Award. Almost 50 e-mails went out. Soon after the first one went out, I got one back, thanking the organisation for their selection. In fact I got many e-mails back. This morning it meant that I had a lot of telephone calls (which I could take sitting in the garden as the sun was out in full glory).

The agenda ahead is now as follows:
- 15 June : jury selects 16 nominees (1 winners per category with a reserve)
- 17 June : announcement of the 16 nominees
- 1 July : entry of the 8 winners for the Grand Jury in Bahrain in the
beginning of September
- end of September : conference with the nominees in the program;
they will receive an award
- middle of October : a WSIS conference
- 16 November : WSA Gala in Tunis
