From April 28-30, 2007 the 5th International Symposium of Interactive Media Design will be held in Istanbul (Turkey). The symposium exists of presntations of papers, workshops, a digital art exhibition and a fine art exhibition. Papers can be sent in till March 30th, 2007. Cross-media # 2 is an Italian event about the crossing of the media met adventurous and innovative scenarios in communication and entertainment. The second edition of the conference looks at the international panorama. Major cinematic contributions will center around Spiderman and Pirates of the Caribian. But there will also be broadcast contribution of RAI Sat Smash and Nessuno and video game Play Press. Web 2.0 initiative will come from Ferrari, Tiscali and VIP Parioli and Second Life.as well as Satyrnet. The second edition of the Cross-media will be held in Rome on 24 March 2007 at the Link Campus University of Malta. Parla Italiano?

From March 22-25, 2007 the Akademi Norr in Hemavan (Sweden) will organise CMID 07, the 1st International Conference on Crossmedia Interaction Design. Key note speakers are Professor Liam J. Bannon from the University of Limerick, Ireland and Ms Christy Dena from the university of Sydney. I have also been invited to speak at the conference.
