iRex Technologies, the manufacturer of the digital paper reader iLiad is about to start the sales process of the newspaper, technical manual and e-book reader, having missed the April and May marks. B2B customers in Europe can place their orders in June. By July the company hopes to have a formal approbation of the equipment and will start to contact the B2B contacts in other parts of the world.. Individual customers will have to wait to wait for the consumer version, which will have a more extended functionality and is scheduled for September 2006.
My cautious conclusion is that the iLiad will be delivered by August 2006, at the earliest.
